The UQI (Utilization & Quality Improvement) Coordinator supervises agency quality improvement structure; agency biennial ODJFS recertification process; responsible for oversight and implementation of COA standards including preparation and coordination of all reaccreditation functions every four years; ensures agency compliance with contracts, regulatory requirements, COA standards. Provides additional clinical/case management support to foster care and behavioral health programs as needed and directed by CEO. Works closely with agency foster care licensing staff to ensure compliance with all ODFJS required tasks as related to foster parent licensing.
Bachelor’s Degree in social work or human services and 3 years direct experience. LSW preferred. Completion of Assessor Training Tier 1&2 prior to employment preferred. Prior work experience with ODJFS, OMHAS, rules, COA standards and Medicaid Managed Care ideal. Employee must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, efficiency, reliability and strong organizational skill. Valid driver’s license required. Automobile insurance with minimum liability amounts, as specified by agency policy, required.
